How to Order Your Custom Stamping Tool

Individually machined from quality steel, for the best in sharpness and clarity. These stamps are not “coined” like lesser imitations. They are made with pride and attention to detail in the U.S.A.

Straight-shank Stamps: For most normal stamping. Generally, no additional costs apply to straight-shank stamps, when size restrictions are followed. Steel stock normally used is 3/8 x 3/8”. It is best to get an estimate where the standard size will be exceeded.

Bent-shank Stamps: For stamping curved surfaces. Certain limitations exist. Generally, these are:

  • Stamp length not to exceed .300” or 7mm.
  • Stamp height not to exceed .120” or 3mm.
  • The stamp face is cut on a radius equal to a size 7 ring. Larger size stamps may require a rocking (right-to-left) motion to get the full impression.
  • Cost of bent-shank stamps is usually an additional $9.12.

Stamps with Standard Lettering:

  • Character Counting — Any numeral, letter, or punctuation mark is a character, including spaces.

    3 characters on one line not exceeding 3/8” long$33.60

  • Measurement equivelants for reference:
    • 1/32” = 0.03125” = 0.794mm
    • 1/28” = 0.036” = 0.907mm
    • 1/24” = 0.042” = 1.067mm
    • 1/20” = 0.05” = 1.27mm
    • 1/16” = 0.0625” = 1.587mm
  • Script Lettering in ALL CAPS adds 30% to the changes for standard block lettering stamps.

For an estimate, supply a quality rendering (dark black on clean white), 10 to 20 times the desired size, in the space provided.
